(YEASAP ) Program
Youth Empowerment And Skill Acquisition Program (YEASAP) is a youth focused project under the supervision of Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development. YEASAP (Youth Empowerment And Skill Acquisition Program) is an annual youth liberation program, geared towards job creation for the Nigerian youth. The goal of YEASAP is to create young SMEs’ within the ages of 15-35 years, and reduce the constant rise of unemployment rate in Nigeria. In 2016, we successfully trained and empowered 3,405 unemployed youths in Lagos State.
In 2017, we have a mandate to empower a minimum of 4,000 unemployed youths, in over 30 vocational skills, whilst also equipping them with work-tools, business/marketing and branding aids
The Vocational Training Department
Offering over 30 quality vocational trainings and diverse skills to enable the Nigerian youths achieve their personal development and business goals. After the training, they are empowered with business knowledge and recommended for tools to set up their own business whilst monitored for 12 months to ensure the success of the business. The Vocational Training department is led by Mrs Funso-Adebayo Dorcas (MBA)
Talent Discovery and management Department
Seeks for and discovers talented youths from the grassroots, especially in the area of entertainment. e.g. singing, dancing, comedy, acting etc. This department nurtures them, trains them and develops them. YEASAP also creates platforms for them to showcase their talents and become economically independent. The Talent Discovery and Management Department is handled by Otunba Niyi Babade a multi-talented documentary maker and CNN Correspondent West-Africa.
